Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
At Gigi Auto Upholstery, we respect your privacy and aim to be clear about how personal information is used when you contact us or use our website.
This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, who we may share it with and the choices available to you.
Who We Are
Gigi Auto Upholstery is the trading name of Gheorghe Clodnischi, a sole trader in the United Kingdom, who is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
Our workshop is located at Unit 18, Lower Grange Farm, Little Chesterton, Bicester, Oxfordshire OX25 3PD, United Kingdom.
For privacy-related enquiries, contact gheorgheclodnischi@gmail.com or telephone +44 7473 003638.
Information We Collect
Our enquiry form asks for your name, your email address and details of your project. We need these to reply to you. Your phone number, vehicle make and model, year of manufacture and the service you need are optional.
You can also attach up to five photographs. Please avoid including anything in them that you would rather not share, such as a number plate or people.
If you contact us by telephone, email or WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to share. We may also receive information you provide when discussing or arranging upholstery work.
To limit repeated submissions, the enquiry form holds the sender’s IP address in server memory for a rolling 10-minute period. It is not written to a file or a database.
Like most websites, our hosting records technical access logs when pages are requested. These typically include an IP address, the date and time, the page requested and browser details.
How We Use Your Information
We use enquiry information to understand your request, contact you about the work, discuss possible services and, where appropriate, arrange an inspection or quotation.
If you become a customer, we may also need to use relevant information to provide the agreed services and maintain appropriate business records.
We do not treat an enquiry as permission to send unrelated promotional communications.
We do not use your information for automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
Analytics and Website Performance
We use Google Analytics 4, a website analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use our website.
Where you have agreed to analytics cookies, Google Analytics may collect information about the pages you visit, how you interact with the website, your general geographic region, your device and browser, and how you arrived at the website.
We use this information to understand website performance, identify areas for improvement and measure the effectiveness of our online presence.
Analytics is optional. You can accept, reject or change your analytics preferences using the Cookie Settings control on our website.
We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, and we never send it your enquiry details.
For more information about the technologies involved, please read our Cookie Policy.
